Madison Civics Club's 2022 Civic Health Series:
"Depolarizing Within: Improving Civil Discourse"
The Madison Civics Club is hosting the Braver Angels’ "Depolarizing Within" workshop to help improve our civil discourse. Braver Angels is a national organization that was founded in 2016 to address the growing political divide in our country. The Wisconsin coordinators of Braver Angels, Cameron Swallow and Susan Vergeront, will be our workshop facilitators. The workshop’s goal is to teach participants how to be more aware of their “inner polarizer”, and how to be critical without demonizing those who hold different political views.
